From a young age, Liz knew she wanted to “save the planet”, but it wasn’t until graduate school that she truly grasped the complexity of the climate crisis. Realizing that humans are both the cause and solution, Liz became passionate about empowering people—especially those most affected by environmental challenges—to drive meaningful action. With a BS in Biology from MacMurray College and an MA in Environmental Studies from the University of Illinois, Liz has dedicated her career to nonprofit work, advocating for adults and children living with developmental and physical disabilities and empowering diverse women to join, promote, and lead in the tech industry.
Her love for nature began at Ecology Camp as a child, where she spent summers learning about local flora and fauna. In her spare time, Liz can be found camping, diving into a good book, traveling, and enjoying life with her partner and their three cats.
