Please join us to reconnect with friends and nature on this family-friendly walk along the Sudbury River led by wetlands specialist, Ingeborg Hegemann Clark from OARS. Learn about local watersheds, their soils, and the important role these protected wild spaces play in heat reduction and carbon sequestration.
For your comfort and enjoyment, bring a trowel for kids to explore the soil, bug repellent, and drinking water/snacks. The primary walk will be ~¼ mile to accommodate young children. Those interested in walking farther may continue, a self-guided 1.2 mi., to the hidden gem of Fairhaven Bay.
