Moms v. Methane
Moms v. Methane is a powerful, community-driven campaign to stop the expansion of fossil gas infrastructure and accelerate the transition to clean energy. We support moms in defeating new pipelines and gas plants while pushing for the conversion of existing gas heating systems—ensuring the places where our children live, learn, and play are safe from toxic pollution.

- Methane makes up 11% of global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
- Methane is 80% more potent as a GHG over the first 20 years of emissions.
- Methane is highly unregulated, with no limits on flaring or releasing gas over 25,000 metric tons.
