Many of us have a deep interest in being an ally: In partnering with other individuals, groups, and organizations to amplify the voices of those people and groups that are being oppressed. But what does it really look like to do this? As an individual, and as an organization, Mothers Out Front? This workshop will lead us through a community conversation on how we want to show up individually and as an ally organization, as well as provide some tangible tools on how to do so. At the end of the workshop, we will have co-created a Mothers Out Front Ally Statement, and practiced some role plays on how to work through the discomfort of the moment to address oppressive situations as an ally.
