Margo Ensz
Grassroots and Digital Giving Manager
Currently residing in Butte, Montana—a resilient community shaped by its industrial past—Margo holds a blend of academic and professional experiences. With a Bachelor of Arts in English from Augsburg College, an MBA from Western Governors University, and a Certificate in Digital Marketing from Duke University, her career spans various communications and philanthropy roles, from wildlife education and financial technology to higher education and healthcare. Margo brings several strengths to movement building, including pragmatism, humor, a data-driven approach, and a steadfast commitment to community-centric fundraising.
Becoming a mother, for Margo, was an act of radical optimism. She is raising her children, one of whom is an infant at high risk for respiratory illnesses, atop one of the country’s most notorious superfund sites. Spending summers choked in wildfire smoke, winters with dwindling snowpacks, and alarming toxicity reports galvanized her to support climate justice and a safe and healthy future for all children.
Margo loves spending time in the mountains with her family on a snowy, bluebird day. As a child, her favorite activities were reading, exploring, and playing neighborhood games of night tag.
