Mothers Out Front congratulates Gina McCarthy on her new role as White House Climate Coordinator in the Biden-Harris Administration. Gina is a bold, fearless advocate for environmental justice, with a track record of addressing the harm caused by climate change and the environmental impacts of fossil fuel use. She understands the action that must be taken to confront this impending crisis. The creation of her position highlights that solving the climate crisis must cut across many sectors such as transportation, jobs, housing as well as reinstating the regulatory rollbacks. We look forward to working with her to create the forthcoming climate policy agenda and to create a livable climate for all children.
