This critical bill would invest 300 million dollars to increase decarbonized heating and cooling in low-income buildings, and invest in renewable energy infrastructure and worker’s training in our state. It would prioritize renovations for Environmental Justice communities, addressing the historic inequity in housing for low- and moderate-income people. It would invest in minority- and women-owned businesses so that we are also addressing the historic hold that white men have on the construction industry. And it would reduce emissions by 50% by 2030.
