MA: Legislative Air Quality Hearing – Watch & Act Party
Through the Clean Heat, Clean Air campaign, Massachusetts mothers and others are mobilizing in support of better air quality. Mothers Out Front wants to halt the unfair burden on neighborhoods suffering toxic pollution and greater harm from Covid.
On Tuesday, June 22nd lawmakers will hold a virtual hearing in support of “An Act to improve outdoor and indoor air quality for communities burdened by transportation pollution” [H2230 / S1447]. Filed by Senator Jehlen and Representatives Barber and Connolly, this bill seeks to decrease air pollution in neighborhoods located near busy highways, ports, airports, and other polluting transportation infrastructure.
Join allies for a “Watch & Act Party.” We need to give this bill a lot of attention so that it moves out of committee favorably and fast. Clean air justice can’t wait! During this event, we will digital take action together and watch experts and sponsors advocate for clean air.
This is a drop-in event! We suggest you come for the first hour 9:30 – 10:30 or arrive at any half hour.
