MA: Senate Hearing — Future of Clean Heat Bill
When you witness our mothers and other citizens testifying in front of the legislature, it is inspiring! You could be there in person for the hearing about one of Mothers Out Front’s priority bills, the Future of Clean Heat Bill.
Today in Massachusetts we rely on polluting fossil fuels to heat and cool our buildings. Now, we have the chance to bring about a better future. The Act Relative to the Future of Clean Heat in the Commonwealth will transition us away from fossil fuels to a system where buildings are heated and cooled with clean, renewable energy. The bill requires gas companies to transition to a new business model and to install clean energy equipment in neighborhoods in a way that is affordable and just.
Our lawmakers need to hear that moms support this bill. Shirt up, show up, and bring one or two or three friends.
